The unit of United Methodist Women at South Vernon Church, consisting of 11 members,
remains very active within our group, our church, our community and serving God.
We observe annual studies – the Call to Prayer and Self Denial in the spring and the Thank Offering in the fall.
We annually make Easter egg candy near Easter and deliver cheer plates of fruit and candy to shut-ins for Thanksgiving.
We participate each Christmas in the Tree of Sharing for the needy, through Interchurch of Knox County.
We are a serving group for others, and a supportive group for each other.
Green stewards of our money for missions.
