Sermon for the Third Sunday of Advent (12/14):
 “God Is with Us”

At Christmas, it’s easy to get caught up in traditions, memories, and holiday fun—but Scripture reminds us of the true heart of the season: the miracle of the Incarnation. In John 1, we see Jesus revealed in all His glory—God over us in His supremacy, God for us in His saving love, God with us in His humble coming, and God in and through us by the transforming power of His Spirit. Christmas is the story of the eternal God stepping into our world, taking on flesh, and offering us new life. We’ll rediscover what it truly means to say, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”
