Sun., Nov 30th – after service – Pizza Lunch followed by Hanging of the Greens to decorate for Christmas

Our November emphasis for giving is our Mitten Tree! We will be collecting mittens, hats, gloves, and scarves for Columbia Students who might need them in the winter months ahead. You can place your donations on our tree at the front of the sanctuary.

This Christmas season, as part of our

mitten tree ministry to Columbia, we will

be constructing reindeer-wrapped boxes

of M&Ms! All three churches will be

coming together on Thurs, December 11th,

at 6:00 pm in the school’s gym.

Please, join us – the more the merrier!

We are gathering information to “adopt” two Columbia School families this year for Christmas. We will soon be sharing details on what will be needed. Let’s come together to help families in need in our surrounding area!

Sermon for the First Sunday of Advent (11/30):
 The Aroma of Christ

This message explores Paul’s image of believers as “the aroma of Christ” in a world overwhelmed by the stench of sin. Just as certain scents stir powerful memories, our lives are meant to carry the fragrance of Jesus – drawing people to “taste and see that the Lord is good.” In a broken world that often “stinks,” God uses ordinary, imperfect people to spread the scent of His grace through love, service, and sacrifice. As we remember Christ’s first coming and anticipate His return, we are called to live in His triumph and let His aroma permeate every place we go.
